That’s me!

I’m a shameless self-promoter or, as my Mum used to say, “you know that skitey-way of talking she has”. That’s me. I can shamelessly self-promote you with my skitey way of talking (and writing). That’s what makes me a PR genie.

I first discovered my PR genius when I wrote my first book. It wasn’t a particularly fantastic book… It definitely wasn’t War and Peace – it was kind of short. Still, it wasn’t as good as The Old Man and the Sea either… Nevertheless, it became a best-seller in Australia (which means it sold over 10 000 copies). How? The power of PR! I did over 100 media appearances and Good Health magazine called me “one of Australia’s leading health and fitness experts”. (Here’s a trick – it’s not necessary that you believe all your own PR… but it is necessary that other people believe it).

Anyway, a few years down the track and I discovered that I really don’t want to work in health and fitness anymore (and I simply don’t have enough bikinis to keep up with Instagram!). But what I do love doing – because I do it so well – is PR.


